The short version.

Overview

In Pursuit is a free, single-player arcade game. It does not have user accounts, advertising, in-app purchases, or any feature that requires you to share personal information with us.

This policy explains, in plain English, what happens when you install and play the game. If you can't find an answer here, email us — contact details at the bottom.

/// 02

What We Collect

Nothing. The game does not transmit personal data to our servers because we don't run servers that receive player data.

Specifically, we do not collect:

  • Your name, email, phone number, or contacts
  • Your location (GPS or otherwise)
  • Your device identifiers (advertising ID, IMEI, etc.)
  • Your photos, microphone, camera, or files
  • Behavioural analytics, gameplay telemetry, or session data
  • Any data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties
/// 03

On-Device Storage

The game saves your progress, settings, high score, unlocked cars, and in-game currency to your phone's local storage. This data never leaves your device unless your operating system backs it up to your own cloud account (Google Drive on Android, iCloud on iOS) — which is between you, your phone, and your cloud provider.

Uninstalling the game removes all on-device data we created.

/// 04

App Stores

You install the game through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Those platforms collect their own data — install events, anonymous crash reports, aggregated download statistics — under their privacy policies, not ours.

We see only the aggregate, anonymous reports the stores show every developer:

  • Total installs and uninstalls
  • Aggregate crash reports (no personal identifiers)
  • Country-level breakdowns and ratings

We cannot identify individual players from these reports. To learn what the stores collect from you, see Google's and Apple's own privacy policies.

/// 05

Children

The game is suitable for general audiences. Because we collect no personal data from anyone, we collect none from children. The game has no chat, no social features, no ads, and no purchases — there is nothing for a child (or anyone) to share with us or with strangers.

/// 06

Your Rights

Privacy laws like the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal data a company holds about you. Since we hold none, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete on our side.

To wipe everything the game has stored on your device, simply uninstall it. To remove any backup, manage it from your Google or Apple account settings.

Changes To This Policy

If we ever add a feature that requires collecting data — for example, an optional online leaderboard — we'll update this policy and bump the version at the top of the page before rolling the feature out. Material changes will also be announced in the game's update notes on the store listing.
